Volunteer Opportunities
RCPTA Board Members Needed for 2025-2026 School Year!

Ridgecrest still needs fill our required board positions for next year's PTA. Without these positions filled, the PTA will not be able to operate. Below is a summary of open positions, please consider volunteering or partnering with a friend to take these roles on. Please respond by May 1st!
Co-VP of Fundraisings (Position 1 & Position 2)

Co-VP of Fundraisings (Position 1 & Position 2)
- Attends and participates in all board and general assembly meetings.
- Coordinates with Co-VP to manage position responsibilities.
- Facilitates Committee Chairs for RC PTA Fundraising Events (Move-A-Thon, Read-A-Thon, Restaurant Fundraisers, Mariner's Night, ect)
- Provides updates to the general assembly on upcoming/past RC PTA Events.
- Supports Fundraising Chairs with volunteers and event planning.
- Time Commitment - Ongoing (2 hr/week), varies with event schedule.
Co-President
- Attends and facilitates all board and general assembly meetings.
- Develops Agenda with Secretary
- Communicates with RC Staff to facilitate volunteering needs. Meets with RC Staff at the beginning and end of the year to set goals.
- Supports Co-VPs, Treasurer and Secretary in their roles.
- Time Commitment - Ongoing (4-8 hr/week), varies with event schedule. 3 board/planning meetings annually, with ad hoc meetings with the school.
- Immediate Past President (Jo) will assist with on the job training for a smooth on boarding.
